Can somebody get me some ice… TODAY!

Wow it is hot in here or is it just me… I think I have to be going through the change of life.. I have too.. I am always hot.. always.. my emotions have been all over the place. I can cry at the drop of a hat. Even the silliest things make me cry.. You know when a commercial can make ya ball, something ain’t right…

My poor family do not know what to do, they never know from one moment to the next what mood I am gonna be in, if they are or are not gonna get fed… and OMGosh, if you ask me a question during one of my moments you are likely to get yelled out! I need something to clam me down.

I am not a drinker, a smoker , and I do not do drugs, unless my Doctor tells me I need them. But I am telling you there have been times here lately that I have thought maybe a nice cold strawberry daiquiri might just hit the spot, if nothing else make me sleep like a baby and give my family a break from the mad women.

When your this emotional you tend to get upset about the smallest things.. My hubs took the last piece of ice.. gloom dispare and agony on me.. My child used the last of the toilet paper and now I am stuck here.. why me!!! The news is running 20 minutes late because of the football game OH MY! Life as I know it is gonna end. LOL

My poor family and friends.. Please know really I love you.. I am trying to deal with all this as it is new to me as well. My moods can do a 180 in like 2 point 3 seconds. So please take the good while you can get it and try to stand the moody grouchy old lady when I am not. To my friends know I do not want or try to be needy.. but if I have not seen you in like 15 minutes you may not love me anymore… Nuts right… all the joys of perimenopause

I can also tell you yet another change that is making me batty… I forget everything. I get up from the couch to go and get something from another room and by the time I get to the room I have forgotten, or I get sidetracked and then forget the original item I needed.. Oh but the worst is that I can not ever remember Doctor appointments, even if they give me the little cards. I either loose or misplace them or someone else who shall remain nameless misplaces them.. sigh…I think my hubs has the right idea.. he had a little note pad and he writes everything he has to do that day down… get it done check it off.. now if we can just remember where we put that darn note pad……

It should say, “Give me my tea!” Instead! A cup of “moldy” tea! I’m glad my crazy lady is still writing! Love it! God bless you and love you sis!

  3. You are hilarious. I bet you are a doll in real life. Thanks so much for sharing.

  4. Regarding the Ice Tea. All I can say is “Been there, done that”, lived through it and got over it. Me and my family had a lot of the Lord’s mercy during those days! Thank God1
